The most hardy of all the timber bamboos, this plant establishes and grows rapidly. It reaches astonishing sizes very quickly and grows very well. The canes grow a deep emerald green and slowly matures to a yellowish green. This bamboo has larger, drooping green leaves. Recommended for a larger contained lot or garden. Similar to Phyllostachys Bambusoides, but with thinner cane walls and does not grow as upright as Phyllostachys Bambusoides.
